AFC Solidarity Cup 2016: Nepal vs Laos - PREVIEW

Nepal will play Laos in the first semi-finals of the AFC Solidarity Cup 2016 on 12th November, 2016. Nepal advanced to the semi-finals as winners of Group A and Laos proceed to semis as runners-up of Group B. Nepal sidelines Brunei 3-0 to book their berth in the last four of the competition, where as Laos defeated Mongolia 3-0 to reach semis.
First semi-finals clash between Nepal and Laos will be the second time this year they face each other. Earlier, the friendly match between Nepal and Laos was held to a 1-1 draw played in May this year. Nepal’s road to semi-finals:
- 0-0 Draw against Timor leste
- 3-0 Win over Brunei
Laos’s road to semi-finals:
- 2-1 Win over Sri-Lanka
- 4-1 Defeat to Macau
- 3-0 Win over Mongolia
